Job Description

Sika is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join it’s growing team in our new Upper Deerfield, NJ plant.

A Warehouse Supervisor at Sika will play a key role in….

• Manages and controls the flow of material from completion of production to shipment to customers.
• Schedules, supervises, and counsels direct reports.
• Utilizes the computer system for managing and controlling product flow in the shipping, receiving and inventory phases
• Assists in the administration of the quality control program {ISO}
• Assists in the administration of the safety program {Sika Safe}
• Manages special projects as assigned
• Participates on the Plant Management Team
• Organize the shipping process and measure the efficiency with KPI’s defined with Director of Operations
• Define, with supply and production, the spaces allowed for safety stock.

Qualifications

• Good judgment: exhibits ability to make decisions and works independently
• Analytical: resourceful; can quickly determine shipping / warehouse requirements
• Superior communications abilities both written and verbal. Must work well with the sales and marketing departments and plant production management
• Detail oriented
• BS in Business Administration and/or 5+ years’ experience in shipping management

• Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly moving working environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• SAP experience preferred
