Job Overview

Reich Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead onsite operations for commercial, industrial, and federal projects. Specializing in Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings, the Traveling Construction Superintendent will oversee field crews, enforce safety and quality standards, manage project schedules, and ensure successful completion of projects nationwide. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires bilingual communication skills, strong customer service, and the ability to solve problems under pressure while keeping projects profitable and teams motivated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for construction projects across the U.S.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Supervise subcontractors and crews, enforcing safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Serve as the onsite leader available 24/7 to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Motivate crews, resolve onsite challenges, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and quality checks.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction supervision experience, preferably with Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Proven ability to manage crews and ensure profitable project delivery.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and construction best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
  • Must be available for weekend and overtime work, with flexibility to travel to job sites nationwide.
