Travel RN – Nurse Educator (L&D)
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay(Travel) : Up to $3,214/week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel RN – Nurse Educator for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver nursing education programs and competency training for Med/Surg and L&D teams.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, supporting nurses in the application of best practices and clinical standards.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design targeted training interventions.
Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
Maintain detailed documentation of educational sessions, staff progress, and competency outcomes.
Provide strong clinical support, leveraging at least 2 years of direct Med/Surg nursing experience.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State RN license with Primary Source Verification from NYSED.
Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience; prior educator or preceptor experience highly preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
