Children and Family Services (CFS) is seeking a Social Work Unit Supervisor to lead the Staff Development team within Child Protection. This supervisor will oversee a team of seven Child Protection Social Worker trainers responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering professional development opportunities for staff across CFS.
The Staff Development unit plays a critical role in ensuring that new and current social workers are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services to children and families. The supervisor will support staff in developing and implementing curriculum, identifying training needs, and promoting a learning culture that enhances best practice and workforce excellence. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Human Services Building at 525 Portland Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday to Friday, with typical hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
