POSITION OVERVIEW

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Management of the electronic water meter system
• Evaluate properties for proper plumbing and meters. Coordinate ordering of job materials, project timing and completion.
• Perform routine maintenance on water meters and electronic reader components.
• Perform plumbing repairs as required
• Oversee the maintenance team to complete installation projects and equipment maintenance
• On call schedule for after-hours plumbing emergencies. A 40-hour work week, M-F 8 AM-4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ work experience, preferably in the plumbing-related field.
• Ability to work flexible hours and perform duties in an orderly fashion under general supervision.
• Ability to travel overnight
• Valid New York State driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 pounds, operate necessary equipment, climb ladders to heights up to 25 feet.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting while driving to locations.

Pay Range $75,000 - $90,000 annually
