Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 3-6 years of legal defense experience to join our team in Atlanta. This role will provide direct support to one partner, assisting in a variety of legal matters in defense of medical malpractice.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications.
• Following up on non-party requests.
• Provide administrative and legal support to one partner.
• Manage case files using iManage
• Perform electronic filings through Odyssey.
• Prepare and manage legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
• Prior experience in defense litigation: insurance, personal injury, or medical malpractice is preferred.
• Proficiency in document management systems such as iManage, WorldDocs, or NetDocs.
• Familiarity with electronic filing systems, particularly Odyssey.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
