Senior Water Resources Project Manager (Hybrid/Remote)

We’re a growing civil engineering firm with a strong footprint across Virginia, and we’re looking for a Senior Water Resources Project Manager who can own complex projects, lead teams, and be a trusted technical voice for clients and agencies alike.

This is not a back-office role. This is a lead-from-the-front position.

🔥 What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive stormwater, drainage, floodplain, and watershed projects from concept through construction
• Serve as Project Manager of Record —own scope, schedule, budget, and delivery
• Lead and mentor engineers and designers (and actually enjoy it)
• Coordinate with municipalities, VDOT, FEMA, and regulatory agencies
• Provide technical expertise in hydrologic & hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.)
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationships

💪 What You Bring

• 10+ years of water resources / civil engineering experience
• Virginia PE required
• Deep experience with stormwater management, floodplain analysis, and drainage design
• Strong project management instincts—you know how to run work, not just design it
• Comfortable leading clients, teams, and meetings
• Experience with Virginia localities, regulations, and permitting is a big plus
