Surgery Scheduler

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

Full-time Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm

$17-20/hr based on experience

Join a team committed to delivering exceptional endoscopy care in a professional and supportive environment. This state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center is seeking a Surgery Scheduler who will be the first voice the patients hear and a vital part of their care journey.

As a Surgery Scheduler, you'll be responsible to booking patient appointments and ensuring all necessary steps are completed before their first visit. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate endoscopic procedures with patients and providers.
• Guides patients through the scheduling process with warmth and clarity.
• Use scheduling software. Allscripts and EPIC knowledge a PLUS!
• Manage high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Ensure all patient data is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to streamline the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a medical scheduler or a similar medical administrative role.
• Experience with phone based scheduling and patient communication.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player that takes initiative.
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of immunization status.
