Job Description

This role will be based in our Atlanta office (must live in Atlanta area).

Seeking a dynamic designer, hands-on doer and team dot-connector who can creatively spearhead a large retail account, managing a multi-layered workflow that requires an artful mix of design agility, retail experience and gut-level brand savvy.

Will serve as the key creative driver for this account, serving as a critical connection point between the client team, in-house design team and in-house project management team. Must be comfortably adept at pivoting when direction changes and knows how to convey those changes downstream with clarity and confidence. An engaged design leader who knows how to galvanize and direct team efforts as well as roll up their sleeves to get in the trenches with them.

A steady but reasonable degree of travel will be involved for client meetings when necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must, as well as presentation building and delivery that weaves strategy and design thoughtfully and persuasively.

Looking for someone how knows how to work smart, not hard and can handle deadlines, demands and personalities with a calm cool and a sense of humor.

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in creative roles, with a robust background in retail design, brand communications, and project leadership.
  • They must exhibit strong creative direction skills and a proven ability to work with cross-functional project teams.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have experience mentoring junior team members, effectively engaging with clients, and expressing creative strategies.
  • Expertise in developing compelling presentations and a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality design solutions is essential.

Special Skills/Qualifications :

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint and/or Keynote; SketchUp a plus
  • Experience working on large-scale design and branded environment projects in retail.

Travel:

50% travel monthly/annually
