Job Description Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly. Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for use by leadership
• Report in detail (verbally and in written form) any suspicious incidents
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
