Our team of 4,000 employee-owners, equipped with innovative technology and optimized procedures, helps owners optimize safety, productivity, profit margins, and cost-efficiency. **Austin Industrial** is currently seeking a **Scaffold Builder** to join our staff located at **Franklin, VA.** They must be able to construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding or other temporary structures. Other duties may be assigned. **Specific Duties and Responsibilities:** + Follow all safety rules and practices. + Erecting and Dismantling Scaffolding + Supporting Mill Operations + Collaborating with Maintenance Teams + Other duties as assigned. **Physical Demands** : + The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. + Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. + The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. + The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. **Qualifications:** + Experience - 2 + years' experience in industrial or manufacturing environment, specifically within Pulp or Power operations. + The ability to read, write, and speak English + Must be a self-starter and meet mill and department objectives. **Requirements** **:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Valid Driver's License + Meet physical demands as listed above + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) + Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location + Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
