With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that's built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence. **Title:** Regional Security and Safety Manager **Facility:** St. Joseph's Hospital (including St. Joseph's North, St. Joseph's Women's, St. Joseph's Behavioral Health) The **Regional Security & Safety Manager** participates in strategic planning with leadership to propose, plan, and execute enhancements in physical security and safety practices to provide for a safe environment for all people on BayCare Health campuses. Responsibilities include: + Conducting periodic risk and vulnerability assessments and implements mitigation strategies in order to minimize operational impact and disruptions to include the use security technologies to restrict access to security sensitive areas and visually monitor activity to maintain a safe and secure area + Ensuring the compliance of applicable Standards for Regulatory Agencies (i.e. Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA, etc.) + Participating in the Environment of Care Committee and hospital readiness and taking a lead role in the Workplace Violence tracking, reporting, and reduction efforts + Overseeing vendors who perform Security/Safety related work for the health system to ensure they provide appropriate services based on their contracted responsibilities + Supervises, trains, and provides professional development opportunities for Security Division team members across multiple hospitals + Collaborates with hospital leadership, Facilities, Emergency Management, Risk, Legal and other BayCare divisions in developing integrated security strategies and division policies + Other duties as assigned Must have strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills, and working in a team-oriented environment. **BayCare offers a competitive total rewards package including:** + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) + Paid time off + Tuition reimbursement + 401k match and additional yearly contribution + Yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus + Community discounts and more! **Minimum Qualifications:** **Experience:** + 5 years Security and 2 years supervisory role in a related field + Or 8 years Security and 4 years supervisory role in a related field **Education:** + High Diploma or Equivalent with related experience + Bachelors + **Preferred:** Masters Credentials + Driver's License - State of Florida + **Preferred:** Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) **Location:** **Tampa, FL** **Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: Yes** **Shift Hours:** **8:00 AM - 4:30 PM** **Weekend Work:** **Occasional** **On Call:** **Yes** Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled **Position** Regional Security and Safety Manager **Location** Tampa:St Josephs | Leadership | Full Time **Req ID** null
