Bring your positive attitude, skills and commitment to the SkyWest team and take your career to new heights! **Primary Job Duties** **Ramp Agents are responsible for processing baggage between baggage areas in the airport facilities and aircraft, as well as receiving and dispatching aircraft.** + Loading and unloading aircraft and carts + Stacking and unstacking baggage in aircraft + Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment + Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belt) + Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags + Escort passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously + Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies + \#zr **Minimum Requirements** **We are looking for individuals excited to take on new challenges, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Ramp Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience.** + Be at least 18 years old + Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver's license + Have a High School Diploma or GED + Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required + Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen + Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship **Physical and Other Requirements** + Ability to lift heavy bags more than 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation + Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions + Attend 4 days of Basic Station Training + This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays + Part-time and full-time positions may be available + Starting at $14.81 an hour + This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position Please complete the on-line application.
