Job Description: Radiation Therapist

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering radiation treatment to patients in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate should be ARRT certified and open to new graduates. Experience with Elekta equipment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as per the prescribed course.
• Ensure accurate alignment of treatment equipment and positioning of patients.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and provide necessary care during treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment and patient responses.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients about the treatment process and care instructions.
• Maintain equipment and perform regular checks to ensure optimal functionality.
• Comply with safety standards and regulations in the use of radiation equipment.

Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification is a must.
• Open to new graduates.
• Experience with Elekta equipment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support patients through their treatment journey.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from $80000 to $99000 annually. The actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's interview performance and skill set.
