Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated fulltime Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments. Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully an individual must:

  • Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately position the beam of radiation and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
  • Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, patient treatment delivery, patient treatment records, radiation safety and quality assurance functions.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
  • Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed.
  • Dedication to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program
  • Must hold a current:
    • Washington: National ARRT certification and current WA Radiologic Technologist certification
    • Idaho: National ARRT certification
  • Must have valid CPR
  • Monday - Friday work schedule and on call as needed.
