Radiation Therapist - Travel Position Location: Kansas City, KS Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 5x8s Days Pay: $3520/week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately administering prescribed radiation treatments, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the overall treatment plan in collaboration with oncologists and medical physicists. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. * Operate and maintain treatment equipment, including TrueBeam and ARIA systems. * Verify patient identity, positioning, and treatment parameters to ensure safety and accuracy. * Monitor patient responses and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team. * Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with all safety and regulatory standards. * Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process.
