Quality Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $91,000 - $138,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality control activities from incoming materials to final product release.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive action (CAPA) processes for non-conformances.
• Manage internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Develop and manage supplier quality programs and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance and quality control teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing quality teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product quality.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience leading quality initiatives for New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Certified Lead Auditor for a relevant industry standard (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Familiarity with specific enterprise QMS software platforms (e.g., MasterControl, EtQ)
