Position Overview Assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in providing the overall administrative and technical direction of a project.
Duties/Responsibilities - Manages and processes project information, requests for information, and design team responses.
- Processes shop drawings, product data.
- Leads the material procurement process.
- Assists with subcontract and purchase order development.
- Participates in quality control.
- Expedites distribution of documents to all involved parties.
- Maintains official project logs and documentation files.
- Manages project close out.
- Team member of the Safety Leadership Engagement Program.
Education and Training - Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of two semesters interning in the commercial construction industry with progressively demanding duties.
- MEP or medical equipment experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities - Basic understanding of construction practices, standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Basic leadership and supervisory skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage and execute the material procurement process.
