Job Description
Newline is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Product Sales & Support Specialist to support our growing Direct View (DV) product line. This role blends product knowledge with hands-on project ownership, supporting both Dealers and End-users in developing accurate, high-quality quotes for Direct View (DV) solutions—including All-In-One and fully customized indoor and outdoor configurations.
This is a customer-facing, product-driven role with an 80/20 split : 80% product ownership and quoting, and 20% sales support. You will act as the key liaison between partners and internal teams, helping move projects from quote initiation to final delivery—ensuring timelines are met, quotes are accurate, and customer expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all of Newline’s Direct View solutions.
• Partner with Dealers and End-users to gather requirements, define solutions, and build detailed quotes.
• Recommend configurations based on technical needs, environment, and customer expectations.
• Act as the internal project driver for DV quotes—from initial scoping through final delivery—ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Monitor and manage each quoting project with the discipline of a project manager, even though installation is handled by the partner.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to verify solution feasibility and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a high level of organization while managing multiple open quotes at once.
• Travel as needed for industry trade shows, DV commissioning, or critical field support—while continuing to manage other active quoting projects and deadlines.
• Ensure customers receive timely, complete, and accurate quotes that reflect their requirements.
• Keep current on market trends, competitor offerings, and product updates trends.
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong technical background, preferably in AV, Direct View LED, or display technology.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quote requests and project timelines independently.
• Proven ability to drive a project to completion with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with partners and internal stakeholders.
• Must be able to multitask effectively—even while traveling—to ensure timely quote delivery and project continuity.
Travel: 40%-50% Nationally
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role involving technical sales, pre-sales, or quoting.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (formal certification not required).
• Experience with CRM platforms, quoting/configuration tools, or technical documentation systems.
