Responsibilities:

• Hand toss and stretch pizzas to order in a high-volume pizzeria
• Follows all recipes and specifications for proper preparation, presentation and garnish set up for all pizzas.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at the line station to assure a smooth service period.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station along with all kitchen equipment and utensils.

The Basics:

• Knowledge of Italian pizza methods including: dough making, dough rolling, peel slide, sauce prep, pizza line prep, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pizza Maker preferred.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Minimum lifting of 20 pounds
• Aptitude for multi-tasking and must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
• Must appreciate homemade Italian food
• Cleaning the store until it shines (because anything less doesn’t change the world!)
