We are seeking a Primary Care Internal Medicine & Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care in a value-based care setting. This role involves treating adult patients 18+, managing chronic conditions, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Details:
Specialties Considered: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine
Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays
Patient Load: Average of 15 patients per day
Setting: Primary Care in a Value-Based Care Model
Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care for acute and chronic conditions
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and review patient history
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Prescribe medications and treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes
Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate their care
Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
Requirements:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
Active Texas Medical License
Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or urgent care setting
Bilingual in English & Spanish (preferred)
Proficiency in EHR systems and medical database software
