*Description* *NOTE- POSTION IS LOCATED IN NORWALK/LOWER FAIRFIELD COUNTY** *Summary:* Under the direction of VP of Network Development this position supports the growing business development needs of Nuvance Health. The Liaison is responsible for the coordination and implementation of an effective outreach program to growth goals for Nuvance Health and related affiliates. Participate in the implementation of short and long-term initiatives relating to activities to achieve service line objectives, retention of existing business and development of new business. Under the guidance of the VP, responsible for identifying opportunities and resolving service issues related to the medical staff and referring physicians; providing education to physicians regarding new services/programs/physicians; improving communication between providers. *Responsibilities:* 1. Under the guidance of the VP, collaborate with Physicians and Nuvance Institutes/ Service Lines to ensure that strategic goals and objectives are implemented and achieved. Promotes the image and service of the organization through sales and promotional activities. Research potential opportunities and trends and communicates to appropriate leaders. 2. In collaboration with strategy, Institutes/ Service lines, outreach to targeted offices based on prioritization and pre-call planning for office visits to define objectives, plan discovery questions, anticipate objections and prepare an effective approach, close call with action plan and document outcomes in appropriate software. 3. Visits targeted physician offices within the assigned geographic region of Nuvance Health. Meets with key staff including office manager, nurse manager, schedulers, and providers as needed to build rapport with offices, address issues and resolve concerns. Embraces and demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and philosophy. Serves as an expert resource for staff and physicians. 4. Physician Liaisons analyze network integrity activity and trends, collaborates in reviewing and resolving issues to strengthen ambulatory growth. 5. Develop a strategic communication plan relating to onboarding new physicians, services, and programs. 6. Distribute appropriate patient and referral source communications, with development of messaging, presentation, and exhibit materials in support of outreach activities. 7. Collaborate and promote special projects and functions as requested. 8. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. *Other Information:* Required: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * 1-3 years of external field-based sales along with some program/project management experience is required. * Experience in Medical group operations, Hospital, or Healthcare related fields is preferred. Working Conditions: Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort.
