Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Tech to join our healthcare team in Mechanicsburg. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.

• Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
• Apply hot and cold therapy treatments according to established protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment and supplies
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a physical therapy or occupational therapy program (preferred)
• Working toward obtaining a college degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records
• Knowledge of therapy equipment and safety protocols
• Genuine compassion for helping others
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following treatment protocols
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
