Oral and maxillofacial surgery office is seeking a full time and part time team player to assist with back office duties.
The surgical assistant position may be part-time or full time and includes: assisting the doctor during surgery, operatory room setup for surgery, sterilizing instruments, direct patient care, verbal explanation of post/pre-operative instructions, and tending to the general upkeep of the practice.
The preferred candidate MUST be a team player, punctual, dependable, a multi-tasker, detail-oriented, upbeat, and have excellent communication and customer service skills (by phone and in person). Must be comfortable with direct patient care. Willing to train the right candidate.
