Job Description

We're seeking a results-driven Operations Manager - Waste Management to lead commercial, industrial, and residential collection operations. This role requires prior experience in the waste management industry and involves overseeing daily hauling activities, managing a large team, ensuring compliance and safety, and driving operational efficiency across a wide service area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of Supervisors, Drivers, Dispatchers, and support staff.
Oversee routing, container delivery/pickup, and ensure timely, high-quality service.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage budgets, control labor and disposal costs, and improve operational performance.
Resolve customer issues and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
Execute strategies that support growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in Waste Management operations (required).
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage large field teams.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
