Occupational Therapist (OT) – Tulsa, OK

$35–$45 per hour (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, and functional mobility
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, adaptive tools, and home modifications
• Document progress, update treatment plans, and ensure timely reporting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (PTs, SLPs, physicians, and social workers)
• Provide discharge planning and home programs
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and regulatory standards
• Stay current on OT best practices and continuing education

Qualifications:

Education & Licensure:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma
• CPR/First Aid certification

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach
• Excellent time management and organization
• Proficient in EMR systems and documentation practices

* Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. * Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital, institutional, or community settings to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems.
* Plan and implement programs and social activities to help patients learn work or school skills and adjust to handicaps.
* Select activities that will help individuals learn work and life-management skills within limits of their mental or physical capabilities.
* Evaluate patients' progress and prepare reports that detail progress.
