Job Description

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00pm to 5:00am

As a Delivery Driver at Crescent Electric, you are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and/or pick-up of goods to specified locations. This includes safe operation of the vehicle, vehicle maintenance, and loading/unloading trucks in an efficient manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Drive company trucks making prompt, on-schedule deliveries and pick-ups while notifying management of any delays in the delivery schedule.

  • Establish familiarity with delivery routes and customers’ preferences.

  • Load and unload trucks in an accurate and efficient manner.

  • Effectively communicate to customers and all levels of staff.

  • Maintain vehicle properly and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.

  • Maintain a harmonious relationship with co-workers and customers.

  • Record damage to vehicles, product, and/or equipment.

  • May assist with standard warehouse activities, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

  • Current medical certification card and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a medical certification card.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

  • 6+ months of product delivery experience.

Pay Details:

  • The expected rate of pay for this position is $23.00 to $24.75 hourly.
  • Shift premium of $1.25/hr
