Overview:
A leading behavioral health provider is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to support children with special needs and their families. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments related to behavioral and therapeutic needs
Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy treatment plans
Develop comprehensive client goals and maintain documentation for insurance compliance
Maintain accurate records of billable service hours
Provide staff training and support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in each client's care
Deliver direct counseling services to children and families
Lead psychoeducational workshops for families and staff
Oversee practicum students or interns as needed
Perform tasks aligned with behavioral analysis and mental health therapy
Schedule and Shift Details:
Evening and weekend availability required
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher
1+ year experience in pediatric care or pediatrics
1+ year experience using any of the following EMR systems:
Allscripts Enterprise EHR
Allscripts Professional EHR
Other EMR systems
Active Michigan licensure as either:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
