The Systems Research Program (SRP) at Leidos currently has an opening for a Library Intern to work in our Greenwood Village, CO office. The Library Intern is responsible for performing scanning and digitization work in support of a specialized national security program. The position directly supports the Manager of Information Services and the Manager of Production and Knowledge Management. Duration of internship is 4-6 months starting as soon as possible.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate scanning and book de-binding equipment, with appropriate training and oversight. Upload scans using scanning software. Enter scan metadata in library software application.

• Collaborate with Library manager and data entry specialist to ensure timely, accurate, and complete metadata entry to library software application.

• Provide assistance to teammates and to external customers with questions regarding locating documents and documents searches in the library software application.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program.

• High level foundation of administrative concepts, principles, and practices sufficient to perform independently duties involving eliminating conflict and duplication of work.

• Must be proficient in common software, particularly Microsoft Office:Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Must possess character traits of being accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-starter, and a team player.

• Demonstrated excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills

• Must be US citizen.

• Candidate must have current SECRET clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.

• Basic level of Chinese language reading abilities.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
