About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals for our Intellectual Property (IP) Summer Internship program in San Diego. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of law, innovation, and technology with one of the world’s leading tech companies.

As an IP Intern, you will:

• Work on real-world IP projects alongside Qualcomm’s experienced legal and engineering professionals
• Gain valuable insight into U.S. and foreign patent practices
• Rotate through assignments covering the full patent lifecycle – from idea conception to patent grant
• Be paired with a dedicated mentor and supported by a collaborative team environment
• Develop skills and knowledge critical for a successful career in patent law or intellectual property

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or entering an ABA-accredited Law School
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CSEE), or Mechanical Engineering (ME)
• Strong interest in patent law, intellectual property, and cutting-edge technology
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
