Job Title: Legal Assistant

Department: Legal Services

Location: In-Person, Atlanta, GA (Sandy Springs)

Time Requirement: Full-Time Position, Hourly

In this position, you will get the opportunity to learn about the legal industry and receive hands-on training from our experienced legal team. Our legal assistants gain valuable knowledge working on complex litigations against some of the largest corporations in the world, as well as single incident cases on a local level. Working on these litigations will give you experience nationwide in multiple state and federal courts. Our firm has a unique background in technology and data analysis, which gives our legal team an advantage over traditional legal roles. At Linville Law Group, you can access uniquely customized software and the training needed to utilize it.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to gather information about their legal claim
• Review medical records and other correspondence from healthcare providers to develop case reports
• Organize and update information for each case in our Salesforce CRM System
• Work with our legal team to implement and grow our legal capabilities as a firm

Knowledge Of:

• Client & Customer Service

The assistant working on product liability and personal injury cases must be able to learn how to complete a client interview after the attorney completes an initial review. During the client interview process, the assistant must display good communication skills, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality
• Advanced capabilities with macOS keyboard shortcuts and typing skills
• Strong organizational and document editing skills (Excel, Word, Adobe, G Suite)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by organizing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks daily
• Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in personal injury law or with a medical background
