Job Title: Warranty/Lemon Law Document Assistant
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Plano TX 75024 (Onsite)
Job Description:
Legal Department is looking for a highly motivated Consumer Litigation Document Assistant.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Legal Department’s Warranty/Lemon Law litigation case managers with the process of collecting documents for discovery in litigation.
Reporting to the Managing Counsel- Business Litigation and Warranty/Lemon Law, the person in this role will support the Legal Department’s objective to strategically and efficiently manage its warranty/lemon law litigation.
What you’ll be doing
Collecting customer and vehicle documents from various corporate departments, including downloading information from internal databases
Updating case files
Transmitting documents to outside counsel for production
Other discovery projects as requested
Requirements:

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage high-volume of work, including supporting multiple individuals
- Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively communicate with your team
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
- Experience supporting litigation teams and litigation case managers
- Experience in legal administrative support, including document and matter management systems and databases
