Position: Junior Ocean Freight Coordinator (Import/Export)

Employment Type: 2-year Contract, Full-time (8 AM - 5 PM)
Salary: $20-23/hour (based on experience)

Role Summary: The Junior Ocean Freight Coordinator will assist in managing import and export shipments via ocean freight, including customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing ocean import/export operations.
• Coordinate communication with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Track cargo and update shipment statuses.
• Prepare and handle documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Assist with NVOCC filings and obtaining permits for Dangerous Goods (DG).
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
• Provide excellent customer service, managing inquiries and relationships.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding.
• Preferably certified in Dangerous Goods (DG); experience with military shipments is a plus.
• Knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian languages preferred.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
