We are seeking a motivated Junior Loan Officer with at least 2 years of mortgage experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build their career by working directly with leads provided by a Senior Loan Officer. If you’re driven, confident on the phone, and passionate about helping clients achieve homeownership, we want to hear from you! This is an in-office position. Must be located in the Knoxville market. Responsibilities: • Create personal relationships with loan applicants - offer additional information and answer questions about home mortgage products • Meet sales expectations, generate new business, get referrals, and monitor sales pipeline • Manage and follow up on qualified leads provided by a Senior Loan Officer • Build relationships with clients and guide them through the mortgage process • Conduct initial borrower consultations, gather documentation, and pre-qualify applicants • Educate clients on various mortgage loan products to find the right solution for their needs • Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and team members to ensure smooth closings • Work occasional weekends to meet client needs and capture opportunities Qualifications: • Excellent sales, relationship, communications and MS Office skills are vital • 2+ years mortgage lending experience (loan officer or related role) • Active NMLS license (required) • Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan products • Excellent communication skills — especially over the phone • Goal-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Team player with a strong desire to learn and grow alongside senior mentors About Company: Simple Mortgage Solutions, LLC is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage and direct lender licensed throughout the Southeast.
