Join Barclays as an Investment Bank Analyst, Financial Sponsors Group, where you will work closely alongside senior bankers and partner with Barclays Capital Markets and Industry bankers to cover premier private equity and asset manager clients. You will play a leadership role on deal teams in pitching and executing advisory, leveraged finance/DCM, and Equity Capital Markets transactions. In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to support senior client coverage bankers in originating transactions, and advising financial sponsors across different products and industries, and supporting execution across a variety of products and sectors.
To be successful as an Investment Bank Analyst, Financial Sponsors Group, you should have experience with:
Collaborating with industry coverage teams and product partners to originate and execute highly detailed transactions and deliver world-class client outcomes
Transactions ranging from M&A advisory, acquisition financing, leveraged finance/DCM, and Equity Capital Markets
Developing investment ideas used to engage clients and strengthen client relationships
Playing a client-facing role in the context of secondary client coverage and on deal-specific pitches or mandates
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Supporting business, financial, and other types of diligence
Ample understanding of financial modelling, accounting, valuation, credit analysis, and other corporate finance applications used in Investment Banking
Ample verbal and written communication with the drive and ability to build client relationships and partner closely with internal constituents
Meticulous attention to detail and effective time management
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
