The Information Assurance contingent worker will support the efforts of the Information Security Program at RBFCU. The contingent worker will assist the Information Assurance team by helping strengthen the organization's information security posture through the construction, socialization and performance measurement of policies and procedures based on best practices, adopted frameworks, and risk assessment activities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Assist with assessing systems, processes and users to ensure compliance with the organization's information security policies and procedures.
• Assist in the creation and analysis of information security reports on the performance of controls across the enterprise.
• Assist with documenting an organization’s information security requirements in a business context and participate in high-level discussions to identify and respond to business risks.
• Support Third Party Risk Management on risk assessments of vendors on IT Security Risks. (i.e. SOC2 Type 2, ISO 27001 reports)
• With guidance, produce deliverables, process flows, procedure documentation, writing specialized assessment reports, related to process, tools, metrics and communication activities.
• Educates users about information security requirements, policies, and procedures and consults on security issues as it relates to strategic initiatives for the organization.

• High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or information technology preferred
• Two years of information security or risk management related experience preferred
Minimum of 1 year project experience required
• Excellent communication skills, includes oral, written and listening
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with information security controls, standards, and response plans • Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-171, FFIEC guidelines
