Income Tax Accountant Location Irving, TX :

RumbleOn , the nation's largest retailer of Powersports vehicles, is expanding our Finance and Accounting team at headquarters in Irving, TX. One key position we are adding is an experienced Income Tax accountant!

The RumbleOn Income Tax Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the company's federal and state income tax returns. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, a problem solver, and will have exceptional communication skills. If you are a budding corporate tax expert that loves to learn this could be the job for you! This hands-on roll will report to the VP, Head of Tax.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare the federal and state tax returns, working with Tax Manager and VP of Tax
• Prepare and Maintain quarterly and annual tax provisions including tracking deferred tax balances and maintaining detailed reconciliations
• Preparation of tax provision in the OneSource Tax Provision system
• Calculate and post monthly tax entry and reconciliation of tax accounts
• Calculate book/tax differences such as depreciation, Unicap, and accrued liabilities
• Make tax payments
• Calculate, Review, and coordinate payments for multiple states
• Prepare amended returns when necessary
• Stay up to date on federal and state tax codes, compliance and procedures for consolidated corporations
• Monitor and respond to tax authority communications
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum of 3+ years of tax experience with Income Tax in a public accounting firm or corporation
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision Software
• Familiarity with Tax Research Tools
• Highly motivated self-starter, ability to work independently
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Experience with ASC 740 preferred
• Ability to work on-site at our office in Irving, TX
