Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Artist to produce proofs and layouts in Illustrator that will be transferred to acrylic, glass and crystal. Job Overview:

• Creates mostly black and white line art and text layouts for engraving but will have opportunities to work with more colorful designs
• Works with customers to provide proofs for aesthetic, clean layouts that will transfer to acrylic and crystal mediums
• Organizes proofs to ensure they are delivered to customers and production department in a timely manner
• Designs and prepares potential customer layout and design ideas
• Available to discuss or develop designs as needed for advertising and updated layouts
• Sends proofs to customers for approval then transfers them to film for engraving or color print on crystal once the customer has approved proofs
• Converses with customers on the phone when clarification is needed for artwork
• Training will be provided
• Compensation is $18-$22 per hour depending on experience

Job Requirements:

• Trained and proficient in Adobe Illustrator (willing to learn other graphic programs)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must work in-office at company location
• Is organized
• Willing to work overtime in order to meet deadlines
