Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a reliable and skilled General Handyman to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys independent work and has experience across multiple trades.
We offer flexible scheduling and the potential to earn $2,000 to $3,000 per week depending on project scope and complexity. We’re looking for handymen who can cover a 50-mile radius around Pittsburgh, serving clients throughout Allegheny County and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently with quality workmanship.
Complete assigned work orders on time while maintaining high standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients.
Provide your own tools and a reliable vehicle for travel within the service area.
Carry liability insurance or be willing to obtain it prior to starting work.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven handyman or maintenance experience
Skilled in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Own tools suitable for multi-trade work
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
