Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our team in New Orleans. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and executing events that align with our clients' visions and goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution from conception to completion
Manage budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and on-site logistics
Collaborate with clients to determine event goals and tailor plans accordingly
Conduct site visits, create event layouts, and manage permits and approvals
Oversee event staff scheduling, training, and task delegation
Monitor event progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth execution
Handle post-event follow-up and evaluations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination or related role
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
