Department: Elementary Teacher
Reports to: Principal and Pastor

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Rose School, a Catholic Elementary School for grades 1-8 and preschool, in Crofton, NE is currently accepting applications for a highly effective elementary teacher to join our elementary teaching staff. This will be a single grade, self contained classroom. The applicant should be available to teach for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will facilitate student success and growth in academic areas as well as social-emotional, and spiritual areas. This position will require you to plan for, teach, and facilitate student learning and growth in a positive, faith-filled environment. A valid Nebraska teaching certificate is required for this position.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A successful candidate will:
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in all academic areas.
* Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide feedback to students and parents.
* Support students with special educational needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized instruction.
* Collaborate with education administration to align teaching practices with school goals.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Education and Experience
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
Candidate must hold or be able to obtain a valid Nebraska teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
