EHS Manager
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental programs at a food and beverage manufacturing facility in Brooklyn, NY. This role will develop and implement EHS policies, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations
Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and corrective actions
Oversee environmental compliance including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives
Lead safety training and emergency response programs for all employees
Investigate incidents, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing, food and beverage, or consumer packaged goods
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations
Proven success in implementing safety programs and conducting compliance audits
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
