Job Description

We don’t micromanage here—so if you only give your best when someone’s watching, this probably isn’t for you.

But if you're the type of person who folds a fresh towel stack because the groomers are slammed and you know it’ll help the day go smoother for everyone, read on.

Four-Legged Fun Zone—Everett’s premier dog daycare, grooming, and enrichment center—is looking for a dependable, dog-savvy team member to join our crew. We’re part of Tailored Pet Services, which has been serving local pet parents since 2011.

We’re building a team of people who show up, step up, and treat every dog like family—and every shift like it matters.

Minimum Experience Requirement (non-negotiable):

  • You must have at least one full year (12 consecutive months) of hands-on dog handling experience in a single role at a dog daycare, veterinary clinic, shelter, or kennel—within the past 3 years.
  • Experience from multiple short-term jobs, Rover, or solo pet sitting does not qualify.
  • One full year in a team-based role where you regularly worked with dogs in a group or clinical setting—such as a dog daycare, vet clinic, shelter, or kennel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise group play and keep pups safe, happy, and engaged
  • Monitor dog behavior and redirect as needed (we’ll train you if needed)
  • Help with daily tasks like cleaning, feeding, setup, and laundry
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and contribute to a smooth, drama-free team dynamic
  • Rotate between indoor and outdoor play areas—yes, even in the rain

What We’re Looking For:

  • Reliable and self-motivated—you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Observant and safety-minded—you notice the small things that prevent big problems
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and being on your feet all day
  • Monday–Friday availability, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
  • Must be 18+ years old

What You’ll Get:

  • $18/hour starting wage, with room for growth
  • Performance-based bonuses and raises
  • Paid sick leave (including mental health days)
  • Discounts on grooming, training, and pet care services
  • A team that trusts you to do the job well—and values when you do

Work-Life Balance—With Boundaries:

We believe in work-life balance—and everyone on the team deserves time off to rest and recharge. That’s exactly why we only allow one person off at a time: it protects balance for everyone, not just the person requesting time away.

If you tend to call out more than once a month or assume requests will always be approved regardless of team coverage, this isn’t the right fit. Our clients (and their pets) rely on us—and we rely on each other.

Apply Now:

If you’re ready to work hard, think on your feet, and be part of a team that takes pet care seriously (but not itself), apply today and tell us why you’re a great fit.
