Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data governance policies and procedures that ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the organization
  • Lead the implementation of data governance tools, data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage mapping
  • Establish and monitor data stewardship practices, working with business and IT stakeholders to define data ownership, accountability, and standards
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a data-driven culture, raising awareness around best practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy laws, regulations, and standards (such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Master Data Management strategy that establishes consistent standards for master data across the organization.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and synchronization of master data domains, such as customer, product, supplier, and location information, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout all key systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify authoritative master data sources, resolve conflicts, and implement robust data validation, enrichment, and stewardship processes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives targeting master data quality and support integration efforts between core business systems to maximize reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on master data quality metrics, drive remediation activities, and ensure alignment with enterprise data governance objectives.

Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in data governance, data engineering, or related roles
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks, data cataloging, metadata management, master data management and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk management
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with IT, business, and executive teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills



ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing and related systems like ERP, CRM, QMS etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement minor system enhancements.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language.
  • Passion for learning and optimizing technologies and user experiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly resourceful in both team environments and building business relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20%.
