As a member of the Platform Security Architecture team, you will contribute to architecting security features for mobile, Arm Computing, TV and Data Center SoCs. You will work with multiple teams to help define state-of-the-art SoC security features to secure wide range of supply chains.

Minimum qualifications

• MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in Hardware Security Module (HSM)-based development, deployment, and operations.
• Experience with applied cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management.
• Formal training in PQC at grad school.
• Knowledge NIST specifications

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on Cryptography
• Computer Architecture Training and Linux Kernel training
• Knowledge of RESTapi and other Web interfaces
• Knowledge of FIDO protocols
• 3 years of experience in building out policies and processes around PKI and HSM.
• Experience working with certification accreditation bodies.

The position is open for San Diego, CA and San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Follow progress in Open Quantum Safe community and follow SymCrypt/OpenSSL changes to understand key PQC discussions, issues, and solutions, and apply these insights to guide internal direction.
• Track NIST/FIPS/CNSA PQC updates, especially on backup and disaster recovery, and next round of PQC algorithms to help align solutions with industry needs.
• Create industry-leading Cryptography Operations and Key management capabilities.
• Upgrade and streamline existing capabilities and infrastructure to support new standards, including Post Quantum.
• Define rigorous security policies and operational procedures for managing high value key material and assets.
• Define and implement robust backup and disaster recovery capabilities for offline HSMs.
• Run Key Ceremonies, working closely with Certification initiatives, and also working closely with SoC architecture and device manufacturing teams.
• Define Device to Cloud security that applies to end to end supply chain security

Salary range: $190,000 - $260,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
