Description We are looking for a dedicated Corporate Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. Responsibilities: - Assist with preparing, filing, and managing subpoenas and other legal documents. - Ensure compliance with legal regulations and organizational policies. - Handle e-filing and court filings for civil litigation cases. - Manage and maintain legal calendars, scheduling deadlines and appointments. - Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to support case preparation. - Conduct research and gather documentation relevant to legal cases. - Monitor and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. - Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to streamline legal processes. - Provide administrative support to legal teams, including drafting correspondence and maintaining records. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant or similar role. - Proficiency in e-filing and court filing processes. - Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and legal documentation. - Strong organizational and calendar management skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
