**JOB SUMMARY**
The Claims Program Specialist helps manage all aspects of office administration, oversees several large vendor projects, and supports all staff within Marriott Claims Services (MCS) - Los Angeles. The Claims program specialist reports to the Regional Claims Admin Lead MCS- Los Angeles and interacts with our customers and associates, all levels of management within the department, and other risk management groups and Vendors.

**Education and Experience**
_Required_
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years equivalent/relevant experience.
_Preferred_
- Strong knowledge of computer software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- General database experience - moderate proficiency.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
Administer projects in support of MCS and Risk Management, which includes but not limited to:
- Maintain equipment inventory and manage all aspects of vendor relations, ordering and billing processes.
- Provide budget support to Director throughout the year.
- Provide critical assistance for fixed asset detail, office rent/charges and local tax filings.
- Assist with monthly operating statement for the department.
- Maintain and update P&PM, best practice files, and organization charts.
- Oversee and maintain department evidence preservation and purging process.
- Oversee off-site file storage, destruction/shredding and retrieval process.
- Business Continuity and Crisis Plan owner- Assist Director and ensures updating and distribution of plans.
- Provide support for iVOS testing and AIG/insurance coding
- Other special projects as assigned.
Support the administrative needs of the Risk Management and Global Safety & Security department, which includes but not limited to:
- Ensure all department equipment is working, relevant, and replaced when necessary.
- Timely A/P processing of invoices.
- Gather time sheets and process payroll for the department
- Ensure department shared drive has adequate storage and remains organized
- Track organizational changes and update Risk Management's organization charts. Ensure the current organization chart is posted on MGS.
- Event planning - responsible for handling all logistics for MCS meetings and functions.
- Arrange and coordinates all travel plans and expense reporting for the entire department.
- Manage phone inquiries, postage (including meter) /FedEx processing, and other general admin support.
The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $33.13.
