About the Role:
We are looking for a kind, dependable, and understanding caregiver to support a 14-year-old girl in West Bloomfield with ADHD and an anxiety disorder. This role includes providing personal care assistance and helping create a calm, supportive environment that encourages routine and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks as needed
Help implement routines and structure in daily activities
Provide emotional support and reassurance in anxiety-triggering situations
Encourage positive social and communication skills
Collaborate with family to meet behavioral and emotional needs
Ensure safety, comfort, and consistency
Qualifications:
Experience with ADHD, anxiety, or similar needs is preferred
Must be 18 years or older
Patient, empathetic, and reliable
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Willing to complete paid training prior to starting
