GENERAL SALES MANAGER (GSM) AUTOMOTIVE $150,000 - $200,000+ a YearOne of the area's top dealerships is looking for an outstanding GSM and leader who has a proven track record of achieving top-tier results. You'll have the opportunity to lead an outstanding and dynamic sales team, maximize performance and achieve success in an award-winning dealership. We have a very strong culture and good collaboration across the departments, this is NOT a re-build situation, you are set up for success from the start.We are one of the top dealerships in the greater Poughkeepsie area, with a strong client base and great retention on our team. With a strong New and Used sales opportunity, your ability to push the store to new heights will be showcased. Looking for a hands-on GSM who knows how to work deals (leases especially), has deep experience with F&I and knows the intricacies of Used Cars.You must have an absolute passion for people, both customers and your team. You will be expected to train regularly, career plan and help your team achieve their best. You must be an excellent communicator and have a track record of success. No references will be checked without your permission.Responsibilities - General Sales Manager :Assist the sales team in closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving profitable high volume growth.Work effectively with finance, billing, and service departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.Meet and surpass quotas and projections on a regular basis, driving sales performance.Provide the sales department with top-tier customer service, strengthening client relationships.Coach, train, and develop team members to maximize potential and create a strong dealership culture.Foster positive working relationships with employees, finance lenders, manufacturers, and vendors, maintaining ethical leadership.
