Job Description

Burress Law, PLLC – McKinney, TX

Job Description

Established, high-level, and rapidly growing plaintiffs’ personal injury firm based in McKinney is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong desire to represent serious personal injury and wrongful death victims and their families. We have the most experienced team of lawyers in Collin County to effectively train you how to be an effective personal injury trial lawyer. We will also consider recent law school graduates who demonstrate a strong desire to help injury victims and try cases.

Our firm’s culture is built on teamwork and treating each other with respect. Not only do we work well together, but many of us spend time together outside of work.

The most important qualities we seek in our newest teammate include: (1) taking ownership of job responsibilities; (2) following firm systems and processes; (3) paying attention to details; (4) connecting with clients while showing empathy and compassion; (5) meets all deadlines; (6) speaks and writes well; (7) possesses strong negotiation skills; and (8) makes the entire team better.

Almost all the clients come to us after losing their health or a loved one due to another’s negligence. We desire to always show compassion to clients from the beginning to the conclusion of our representation. However, make no mistake that we are in the winning business, plain and simple, as each client has only one chance to earn a full value recovery for their loss. We take the challenge to win every case very seriously, which is why we strive to find driven, committed teammates.

Compensation and Benefits are extremely competitive. Compensation, especially bonuses, tends to increase very significantly for successful attorneys starting in year 2 as they begin successfully closing cases.
